Description

The content of this course will cover a detailed introduction of the T-101 Drilling Machine, 660/760 Tapping Machines, STOPPLE® II plugging equipment as well as setting and retrieval of LOCK-O-RING®,  LOCK-O-RING® Plus and THREAD-O-RING™  completion plugs. There will be a mixture of classroom and hands-on instruction throughout the course covering the typical steps for completing a STOPPLE® isolation operation.

Students will be provided with instruction on design specifications, fitting preparations, equipment maintenance, equipment preparations, set-up and safe operational use of the equipment. Content will also include calculating tapping distance, use of measurement cards, functional leak testing, installation of equipment, purpose and proper use of equalization, flow rate specifications and other mathematical equations to help the student better understand hot tapping and plugging operations while using T.D. Williamson equipment.

*Instructional portion of class completes at the end of day 4. Remaining ½ day will be devoted to hands on repetition/practice.

Who Should Attend

TDW recommends that engineers, operators, foremen, trainers and hands-on personnel participate in these classes.

Each participant must cover any other expenses, such as hotel, meals, and transportation to and from Tulsa, etc.
