For pipelines from 14 to 42 inches, no pig can be used for as many applications as the rugged, easy-to-maintain Vantage® V. It’s effective for nearly every flow assurance and operational need, including batching, cleaning soft, hard and scaly debris, gauging and hydrotesting preparation, with little to no configuration modifications. Because it is designed to work with the same cups and discs as the equally versatile OptionALL™ pig for smaller pipelines, spare parts requirements are simple. Equipping the pig with RealSeal® urethane cups enhances sealing capabilities.

Manufactured to the same strict OEM performance standards, scraper discs offer superior abrasion and wear resistance qualities for long, reliable performance. Available in a variety of hardness's, thicknesses and configurations to meet specific needs, including bypass holes to promote more effective cleaning.
Used on various TDW cleaning and batching pigs, these polyurethane cups are designed for precise fit, long wear and superior abrasion resistance. Customization — including bypass holes, special sizing and conical configurations — helps ensure the best performance for each pipeline application.
The VANTAGE V pig can be used with TDW RealSeal® urethane cups with multi-lip sealing grooves, which should be used during critical sealing applications such as nitrogen purges, line filling for hydrostatic testing and cleaning.
Urethane blades provide the tough scraping action necessary to remove soft internal deposits. Because they’re formulated from polyurethane designed to resist abrasion, the blades are long-lasting and reliable. Different urethane formulations are also available for unique applications such as the Plow urethane blades for removing wax.
Brushes made to the exacting standards of the original components help ensure aggressive cleaning by a variety of pigs, removing tough debris like black powder and scale from interior walls and pits.
Magnets are added to pick up ferrous debris.
Gauge plates are slotted aluminum flanges attached to a gauge pig to help locate and identify internal anomalies and restrictions. The plate becomes deformed when the pig moves over an obstruction or pipe diameter reduction. Because they are made of aluminum they will not damage the internal surface of the pipe.
Configurations
Outfitted with a deformable aluminum plate, gauge pigs are a fast, cost-effective way to determine whether there’s an obstruction or pipe diameter reduction in the pipeline. They are often used during pre-commissioning and as part of progressive pigging, and help operators determine if they need in-line inspection (ILI) services to obtain more detailed information. Multiple gauge plates can be provided on one pig.
The 2 Cup VANTAGE® V Batching Pigs are recommended for light to medium batching and lines with 1.5 DR - 90° bends.
Two cup, blade pigs are recommended for light-medium cleaning in pipelines. Urethane blades provide the tough scraping action necessary to remove soft, gummy internal deposits.
Two cup, brush pigs are recommended for medium cleaning in in crude oil, natural gas and refined products pipelines. Brushes remove tough debris like black powder, hard wax and scale from interior walls.
The DCDC VANTAGE® V Cleaning Pigs are recommended for medium to heavy batching and/or medium cleaning. . The 10- to 14-inch pigs will traverse 1.5 DR - 90° bends and 16-inches and larger will traverse 3.0 DR - 90° bends. This pig will traverse most long bowl check valves and full opening wedge gate valves.
The 3D2C-BL VANTAGE® V cleaning pig are recommended for medium cleaning. Three-rib urethane blades provide the tough scraping action necessary to remove soft, gummy internal deposits and wax. This pig will traverse most long bowl check valves and full opening wedge gate valves.
The 3D2C-BR VANTAGE® V cleaning pigs are recommended for heavy cleaning in in crude oil, natural gas and refined products pipelines. Brushes remove tough debris like black powder, hard wax and scale from interior walls.
