Qualification is a requirement for Technician status.
Hot Tapping and Plugging Technicians, Technicians - Level One and Two, and International Master Technicians and Master Technicians will be re-evaluated every 36 months.
Composite Wrap Technicians will be evaluated every 36 months.
Pigging and In-line Inspection Tool Launching and Receiving Technicians will be evaluated every 36 months.
Welders will be re-evaluated every 12 months.
Re-evaluations can also be required as a result of poor field performance, incidents, and physical limitations. Re-evaluation methodology is the same as initial evaluation.
