The SHORTSTOPP ® 740 Purge and Equalization Fitting is engineered for new construction and for blowdown connections on either side of a block valve. It allows taps to be made without shutdown using the TDW T-101 Drilling Machine or the 360 Tapping Machine.

- Maxiumum allowable operating pressure: 51 bar (740 psi).

Key Features
- Accepts corrosion-test coupons, thermometer wells, gauge adapters and other instrument probes.
- Plugs can be set using either the T-101 Drilling Machine or the SHORTSTOPP 500 Completion Machine.
- Comprises cap, plug, 0-ring and nipple.

- Purging and equalization during plugging operations on pipelines and piping systems.
- Completing blowdown of isolated pipe sections following a double SHORTSTOPP operation.
