M-STOPP™ Fittings are low-profile, full- encirclement fittings designed to provide a means of plugging off pipe with Line Stopper equipment without interrupting the flow of gas.
The basic fitting is available in sizes 3" through 12" (80mm through 304mm). The M-STOPP™ Fitting has a side (or bottom) outlet which can be used for equipment tie-ins, side or bottom outlet connections, and for making crossovers. It has a threaded completion plug, permitting removal of the tapping valve when work is completed.
The fitting can be provided to ASME Class 150, 300 or 400 at 100°F (38°C). On the M-STOPP™, the outlet can be positioned to the side or bottom, permitting less excavation and bypass welding, while keeping a low profile.
