POLYSTOPP® Line Intervention

T.D. Williamson, S.A. offers an exclusive new generation of pipeline intervention equipment for applications involving polyethylene pipes. This impressive new product line includes specially designed valves, drilling, plugging, completion and cleaning machines, as well as fittings.
In many countries such as France, the Netherlands, Portugal and Hungary, the requirements for pipeline network operating pressures have been increased to 8 bar and 10 bar (120 psi and 150 psi). TDW's new equipment is capable of line intervention at operating pressures up to 10 bar.
The new system incorporates additional features for increased safety and ease of operation, and can be used on PE 80 pipes as well as on PE 100 material. It is designed to isolate a section of pipe for repair purposes or to make an extension without shutdown of the line. Also a direct branch connection can be made through the bottom of the pipe without plugging operation.
POLYSTOPP® is available for pipe sizes 110, 125 and 160 mm at 10 bar, and it also covers the sizes 90, 180, 225, and 250 mm at 7 bar and 200 mm at 5 bar.
