The M80/C90 Tapping and Plugging System is available in Europe for tapping and plugging low pressure (6 bar or 87 psi MAOP) gas and water distribution lines. It is manufactured by T.D. Williamson France S.A. and has been approved for use on the Gaz de France distribution system.
The M80 Tapping Machine is designed for manual tapping and plugging of DN 15, 25, 32, and 50 mm branch lines.
After welding a plugging nipple or three-way fitting onto a 25, 32 or 40 mm pipe, tapping the line is complete with the M80 Machine Manual Operating System.
Plugging is then completed with the C90 Plugging Machine, which can be operated manually or with an air motor.
Both M80 and C90 equipment are compact and stored in a 450 x 300 x 130 mm box weighing 20 kg. C90 Plugging Equipment is in the same size box and weighs 16 kg.
