    Operator Qualification through Performance Evaluation

HOT TAPPING AND PLUGGING OPERATOR QUALIFICATION THROUGH PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

Operator Qualification through hands on Performance Evaluations and knowledge-based testing are designed to assess an individual’s skill level on specific covered tasks.
Performance Evaluations and Testing require a participant to demonstrate their skill in a controlled, observable, and measurable manner and are administered by TDW’s evaluators at the TDW Technology Center in Tulsa.
Operator Qualification is offered to those companies who recognize/utilize TDW LineMaster™ as part of their OQ Plan on Hot Tapping and Plugging.  A TDW Certificate of Completion will be given to those who complete the performance evaluation(s) successfully.

“New for 2012” – In the interest of Quality Training and Safe Field Operations, we have separated classroom instruction from Operator Qualification Performance Verification (OQPV) during the same week.  LineMaster™ classes are training and OQPV assessments are testing and they are best conducted at separate times.
We strongly recommend that your Technicians, using their new classroom knowledge, return to the field to gain experience before attempting their OQPV testing.
