Accuracy Beyond Measure
TDW mapping service provides pipeline operators with the opportunity to examine the precise centerline trajectory of a pipeline in latitude, longitude and elevation. An above ground survey conducted at periodic intervals along the pipeline is paired with an inline inspection run using a vehicle which includes an inertial measurement unit (IMU). The result is a detailed map of all key pipeline features.
The service is available with many reporting options including: highly accurate pipe centerline coordinates for all pipeline features in the general pipeline listing (girth welds, valves, fittings and anomalies), bend radius determination, analysis of abnormal curvature and customizable data export formats for incorporation into standard visualization and GIS systems.
