TDW Offshore Pipeline Construction Services 

 
TDW fabricates a range of pipeline construction tools, including handling, recovery and hang-off clamps.

The TDW Offshore SmartLiftTM PRT (Primary Recovery Tool) enables the end of a pipeline to safely be recovered to the surface or laid on the sea floor. These tools can be both diver-operated and ROV-operated. After recovery, the TDW Offshore Hang-Off Clamp holds the pipeline end securely while modifications are performed.

These tools reduce the use of vessel, ROV and diving time. Applications for TDW Offshore's range of pipeline construction tools include the following:

- Subsea pipelines can be isolated and pressure tested with out the installation of a blind flange or welded end cap
- Remote-operated dewatering of a pipeline to facilitate pick-up
- Remote-controlled flooding of subsea pipelines
- Quick release and retrieval of pipelines during or after pipelay
- Pig launching and receiving
