TDW is always working to build strong defenses against workplace injury, but we don’t stop there. We’re equally devoted to promoting the health and wellbeing of everyone at our manufacturing facilities, service centers, and project sites – from our employees through our subcontractors to our customers.
- Assessment: Our team carefully examines and reviews all worksites and activities for potential health hazards, from chemicals to contaminants to noise levels. We make a point of anticipating all possible exposures so we can effectively safeguard workers’ health.
- Training: Once we develop a clear picture of the potential health hazards an environment poses, we map out processes for keeping risks to a minimum. We factor in preventive measures, equipment requirements, and emergency responses. And most importantly, our well-trained personnel know how and when to use those processes effectively.
- Monitoring: We track workers’ exposures to potential health hazards to make sure they don’t exceed regulated limits. And our policy of annual employee physical check-ups helps us make sure that we identify and protect employees who may be at a greater risk due to chemical exposure, allergies, or medical conditions.
- Awareness programs: TDW regularly suggests preventive measures, activities, and exercises that can help employees reduce health risks, from stress management tips to fitness courses.
