BASIC FUNCTION:
To be an effective, technical and knowledgeable actor of the Engineering department that will insure that the internal and external TDW customers are delivered on time with conforming, quality and safe products.
Accountabilities:
Product design:
- Manage the awarded projects in country and ensure productive working atmosphere.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects and scope of the project working in close coordination with Services Department (HT&P and ILI).
- Create and execute project plans; revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Product Management:
- Identify projects opportunities as project matures, at either pre or post contract phases.
- Develop an understanding of the Algerian Market and pursues new business opportunities.
Development and innovation:
- Facilitate project team and client meetings effectively.
- Resolve and / or escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Allocate and distribute tasks within the project team as evenly as possible.
- Carries out “corrective action” and “customer satisfaction” studies on completion of each project.
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS
Is accountable to the General Manager - Africa in the performance of his duties. Works closely with the Commercial Project Engineer – Algeria. Close contact with sub-contractors managing projects as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Engineering degree / Background
- Sound knowledge of the Pipeline Industry (Min. 3 years)
- Fluent French and English (Arabic is an advantage)
