BASIC FUNCTION:
Directs and administers Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAM) Region's PIPS financial affairs, including TDW UK accounting, tax, and reporting practices to ensure adequate records and that an effective system of internal financial controls exist to attain financial objectives based on regional goals and policies.
Accountabilities:
- Directs the development of reporting processes/procedures and systems for operations, supervises the preparation of reports for TDW UK and PIPS at EAM Level, and directs the development and implementation of automated systems to provide reports to management.
- Manages all activities related to accounting and internal financial controls for TDW UK, ensuring the effectiveness and adequacy of accounting and control systems. Ensures compliance with Corporate policies and procedures
- Directs development of budgeting process and procedures to provide budgeting/planning systems to operations and Corporate management, which ensure that management has adequate information to plan effectively to meet Business unit and Corporate goals.
- With input from the PIPS EAM and EAM Management team, develops long-and short-range financial forecasts for the Region. Provides financial projections and analyses to regional management for development of the strategic plan.
- Co-ordinates and provides financial analysis and direction for various internal-and external-related activities that may be assigned by the PIPS BUM/General Manager-EAM and/or Vice President/ Finance Manager EAM.
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS
Reports to the General Manager Pipeline Integrity EAM. Supervises general accounting activities in TDW UK. Interfaces with the Finance Manager EAM. Works closely with other EAM matrix partners and Corporate department managers.
