BASIC FUNCTION:
Provides technical support related to engineering, quality and HSE issues.
Accountabilities:
- Revises SStop fittings, closures and any other drawings related to PCU Italy production (under supervision of Nivelles Engineering Department.
- Issues new drawings if necessary (under supervision of Nivelles Engineering Dept), issues drawings for fixtures, die, device…
- Makes calculations for fittings to help also sales to choice exact products and manufacturing site (PCU, Nivelles).
- Manages and issues material certificates.
- Manages HSE matters like reports, inspections
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS
Reports to the Manufacturing Manager Italy. Is accountable to the Engineering Manager in Nivelles in the performance of his engineering duties.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- A degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience Knowledge of CAD or similar system (used in Nivelles) and calculations, knowledge of international standards (ASME, ANSI, EN), experience in quality
- Fluency in Italian and English.
