Welcome to T. D. Williamson, Inc. Global Solutions. Forget says, "Right now, maximizing production and expediting delivery are key factors in being able to assure customers that their needs are being met in a timely manner by TDW."  For example, Russia is an expanding market.  The scope of their rapidly growing petroleum and gas production activity is large and many of their specific pipeline projects are equally large.  Equipment sizes currently being produced for Russian applications include 28", 48" and 56" SANDWICH® valves, adaptors, plugging heads, fittings and tapping machines.  For June alone, three 2460 Tapping Machines, the largest produced by TDW, have been ordered.  Because TDW offers such a wide range of products and capabilities, customers within the EAM region are able to bundle their equipment and service orders to include such items such as in-service welding.  Beyond the practical benefit of convenience, bundling TDW equipment and services also offers time and cost-saving advantages.  By combining equipment and service orders, customers can economize on transportation expense and utilize resources such as TDW technicians for multiple applications. Developing a mutual level of professional respect and familiarity, or Partner of Choice status with customers, is a practice that increases all-around project efficiency and facilitates smooth job site workflow with faster project completion times.  The achievement of such a high level of coordination stems from the long-time TDW practice of establishing close working relationships with customers.  Close working relationships are particularly beneficial for those customers with strict product and service requirements.  Keeping customers informed on a frequent basis, and listening carefully when they express their views and desires is a TDW service philosophy that emphasizes being proactive rather than reactive. New customers in rapidly expanding production zones are learning about the added benefit of a close working relationship with TDW.  Because TDW has accumulated over 80 years of hands-on experience in every type of pipeline situation or environmental condition, TDW engineers and technicians have the ability to anticipate potential problems.  TDW can offer advice before a pipeline operator even realizes they June be facing a situation – thereby heading it off in advance, saving both valuable time and the potentially significant expense of interrupted pipeline flow. Through EAM, TDW has achieved another first.  Within a tight 10 week window, TDW designed and built a large 56" by 48" by 48" 3Way™ Tee – the first of its size.  As noted by Mr. Forget, "By working three shifts and utilizing express transport, the equipment was delivered on time and the process, from beginning to end, went very smoothly." Activity within EAM is not limited to just a few hot spots.  Spain is ordering large numbers of SHORTSTOPP® fittings ranging in size from 2" to 12".  Algeria is ordering equipment, and France is always an important customer.  Andrew M.C. Jack, TDW Business Development Manager, EAM, is tracking and facilitating numerous significant projects that are at various stages of design and fulfillment.  Because new activity is taking place from Russia to Abu Dhabi and across Europe, locations for new localized services centers are being considered.  Innovative technologies developed within EAM, such as the new GAZOMAT™ INSPECTRA® LASER portable methane detection unit, are representative of the continuous flow of leading edge products and capabilities that TDW customers have come to expect. Pipeline system expansion and refurbishment is proceeding at an unprecedented pace worldwide.  Regardless of where it happens, North America, Latin America, Australia, Asia-Pacific or the EAM region, TDW is prepared to offer pipeline operators the most comprehensive selection of equipment and services backed by over 80 years hands-on experience and an engineering capability that is unsurpassed in providing custom solutions.
